Many simple crafts require items that you may already have around your home. Jewelry and household decorations are a few projects that you might consider when searching for a quick and easy craft.

Ribbon bracelets are incredibly easy to make and fun to wear. Select ribbons of different colors and designs. Measure a ribbon to fit your wrist and cut it to size, leaving enough extra ribbon to fold the ends under. Attach self-adhesive Velcro to secure the overlapping ends. Add a drop of glue to the adhesive side, if needed.

Photo Napkin Rings

Show off family photos while you entertain guests by making photo napkin rings. Cut photos into small squares and glue them onto scrapbook paper. Leave a ¼-inch border of paper around the edge of each photo. Cut paper strips and fold the paper into fourths to create a square ring. Insert the napkin into the ring and tape the ends of the ring together so it will stay in place. Tape the photo to the ring.

Candle Holder

Put unused drink glasses to use as candle holders. Choose an elegant wine glass, for instance, and place a clear votive candle holder inside of it. Pour gel wax, found in craft stores, into the glass around the outside of the votive holder. Place a separate candle inside the votive holder so that you aren’t actually burning the gel wax. Dye the gel wax to give the candle holder a more personalized look.
